  3. 305,000. Paper, textiles, and copper products
  4. are manufactured here. It has many Moorish
  5. remains, including the mosque, now a
  6. cathedral, founded by 'Abd-ar-Rahman I in
  7. 785, which is one of the largest Christian
  8. churches in the world. Cordoba was probably
  9. founded by the Carthaginians; it was held by
  10. the Moors 711-1236.
